Affiliate Marketing is a way of making money online by promoting other peoples product, service or website. There are a number of forms of these types of promotions but in most cases they involve you as an affiliate earning a commission when someone follows a link on your blog or niche website to another site where they then purchase the product or service. Other possibilities are where you earn an amount for referring visitors who take some kind of action. For example when they sign up for something and give an email address, where they complete a survey, where they leave their personal information etc.. Commissions are mostly a percentage of a sale but can also be a fixed amount per conversion.

There are many affiliate programs out there for products or services of your interest. Just do a search on any search engine for “product or service affiliate program”. Still pretty hot niches are for example skin care, weight loss, hair loss, affiliate marketing, anger management, food supplements (wellness), etc..

If you are considering to start an internet business yourself, you can probably think of many products that people need and will probably buy it because they need it. Just use a search engine to find “product affiliate program”. There are countless possibilities. I talked to one guy about a year ago who was promoting commercial refrigerators and made a lot of money with it. He also tried an experiment to prove any affiliate program works and started promoting birdcages. Oh my god! Birdcages? Yes, and he made over 100,000 dollars in one year on it.

No one can tell you what the best affiliate programs are, because every one of them will tell you they are the best to make a lot of money. Find something specific for the Niche of your choice.

The products that sell best are the ones people need, to be able to do what they are doing already, but better or faster. Clickbank and PayDotCom have plenty of those in their marketplace. The higher the conversion rate a product has, the more sales are made on that product.

Because of how easy it is to generate income, the internet business bandwagon is getting fuller every day.
